Japan Trip - ICTO 2018
Yes, we went to Osaka Japan in April 2018.Its actually an International Club Taekwondo Championship, we brought a whole team around 30 of us…..18 players, most of them on average below 15 years and they truly enjoyed the experience
Me & Thiba also had the honour of being the parents 2 more kids - Thrishanya & Alya as their parents could not make the trip.
It was a wonderful trip for all of us and until today we keep on talking about it. When we arrived in Osaka it was around 18-20 degree and it was not so cold just nice. We had a great experience taking the ever-precise Japan train service 😁
This picture is the first evening we spent in Osaka…I told everyone we can walk around later to feel the breeze…all of them including my wife came down with normal clothes and I was the only 1 with warm clothes…Immediately when then stepped out of the hotel,everyone ran back to the room to get their warm clothes - NOBODY LISTENS TO ME 😆
We had to take 2 trains before we could get to our hotel.Let me tell you about our hotel -
Its nothing fancy just a simple hotel and we took the 6 person family room. When we reached there, it was a concept made simple - 8 bunk beds that fits for an adult in 1 room with toilet and shower.The kids had a bed to them self SUPER INNOVATIVE FOR A SMALL SPACE

Ok lets talk about what we came here for - The Taekwondo Tournament.
We had 18 players and we came back with 15 medals in total - 6 Gold, 4 silver & 5 Bronze
Our family had a handsome medal tally as well -
Trish -Gold, Aliya Silver, Eshan & Nemisha - Bronze
Nemisha repeated her feet - 2nd medal in her second international tournament.
The tournament was very professionally organized and we truly enjoyed the matches and with the participating team coming from some of the promising countries.

One of the place where I think everyone spent the whole day and truly enjoyed every minute of it was the Universal Studios its just 2 or 3 stop away from out hotel..how cool is that.

Well after an amazing 1 week In Osaka Japan we flew back with lovely memories that we still freshly remember until today.We will definitely go again if we can.
